There you go, my maiden post from Melbourne. Decided to create a new blog, to segregate the Malaysian posts with the Melbourne ones. Will try to post some nice pics, although it can be really tough. I find Melbourne restaurants to be dimly lit, most of the time, and that restaurants here do not like photograpy of their work, but out of courtesy, I believe permission can be attained at most times.
Otherwise, I must say, this city is spread very wide, and many hidden gems. Food can be pricey, you have great cheap eats, every where in the city.
I find Melbourne a great place to live. Its a melting pot of many cultures, and as a growing city, I food is always in demand. It is very exciting to know that we will be encountering all sorts of new and exotic dishes to challenge the flavours that I have known so far.
So with this post I begin my journey in documenting my gastronomic diary here in Melbourne.
